Macedonia is first time on some big event in Water Polo and they even never been close to a big tournament like this, but things have changed a lot lately and Macedonian national team has improved a lot. That improvement is mainly because of big investment in that sport lately and Macedonia took many great international players that are pretty good, but not that good to play in their national selections. These Macedonian team is composed of many Serbians, Croats and Montenegrins, players that are playing in strong teams over Europe and they look pretty strong like team. They had good preparation period where played two matches against one of the strongest teams in Europe, Montenegro and they beat them once and the other time the match ended draw.
Romania is stronger team than Macedonia, there is no doubt about it, but I am taking this bet because Macedonian players have huge bonuses promised for this tournament and money motivation is very important, if not the most important in cases where many players are coming from other nations. I believe that Macedonia if loses, they will not lose with more than 3 goals difference.
Pick: Federer to win Wimbledon Result: No Stake: 8/10 Odds: 1.75 Bookmaker: 10betvCash: Yes Posted: Jul 02, 2008, 05:07
Federer is king of grass and no matter against who is he playing he is absolute favorite. His attacking game suits pretty well on this surface and without a doubt he is the king of Wimbledon. In my eyes his biggest contender for the trophy is, of course, Rafael Nadal who has huge improvement of his game on this surface. Just like reminder, Nadal played great and had lead in last year’s final against Federer. Federer has fear from Nadal, no doubt about that and he was trashed on Rolland Garros in the final. Now he will have great chance for revenge on his field.
Nadal will have to beat home player Murray in quarter finals and it will be hard for him, but I believe that he will reach the final and we will see another great final with Roger. Federer haven’t suffered the feel of defeat on grass on 60 matches in a row and won last 5 tournaments. If he wins this one, he will break many records. Entering the history with 6 wins in a row and beating his biggest rival in the final will give huge motivation boost and knowing his superiority on fast surfaces 1.75 looks pretty good to me.
